Homemade Toilet Bowl Cleaners:

1. Tree Tea Oil Toilet Bowl Scrub:

Mix one tablespoon tea tree oil with one cup white vinegar in a glass bowl and transfer the solution to a spray bottle. Spray the toilet bowl with the solution and leave it for some time. Sprinkle baking soda all over the toilet bowl and scrub using a brush. Cleanse using water finally. This will deodorize the toilet bowl, kill germs and remove grime.

 

2. Heavy Duty Cleanser:

Combine one cup borax with one cup white vinegar in a bowl. Add half cup fresh lemon juice or a few drops of lemon oil to the solution. Finally, stir in a few drops of lavender oil and pour the mixture inside the toilet bowl before you go to bed. Allow it to soak overnight, scrub and flush in the morning to remove all nasty stains and smell.

3. Cleaning Bombs:

Blend one cup baking soda with two tablespoons liquid dish wash and quarter cup citric acid in a bowl and whisk them together. Once you get a slightly sticky mixture, press it in a square mold such as ice cube trays and leave them overnight. Once it dries up, remove them and toss one cube into your toilet bowl. Sprinkle half cup hydrogen peroxide all over your toilet bowl, inside and outside. 5. Lazy Day Scrub:

Being natural cleaning agents, baking soda and vinegar can be combined together to release stubborn stains. When combined together, they produce a fizzing reaction that can be used to your advantage. Fill in white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it all over your toilet bowl. Let it sit for a few minutes, at least 20 minutes. Sprinkle baking soda inside the bowl, scrub it and flush it.
